Advocacy & Social Impact
Nonprofits, movements, and policy work.
For organizations doing meaningful work
Dreamwell acts as your fractional technology director and delivery team. We help you decide what technology you need, align the people responsible for it, and carry the work through delivery.
Our expertise is in AI systems, workflows, websites, and apps your organization needs.
Our approach
Strategy firms recommend. Agencies build. Coordinators manage. Dreamwell combines the strategy, coordination, and hands-on delivery your situation requires.
How we work
From the first conversation to steady stewardship, the same arc guides every engagement.
Discovery and workflow mapping, listening to the people who do the work, not just the org chart.
Strategy and priorities: what to keep, replace, integrate, or build, and in what order.
Ownership made clear, decisions facilitated, and mediation when the friction is between people.
We build, integrate, and automate with our own team, or direct your vendors’ work.
Ongoing direction: roadmap, vendors, risks, and the next right investment, quarter after quarter.
An engagement may involve one stage or continue across the full arc, depending on what your organization needs.
Where to start
For organizations facing tangled systems, inefficient workflows, or a technology decision they can’t see clearly yet.
Ecosystem Check-up · Ecosystem Diagnostic · Software Assessment
For an important initiative that needs an owner: analysis, project leadership, vendor coordination, or our own team building and automating it.
Project & Delivery Leadership · Automation & Software Delivery
For organizations that need senior technology judgment, a steady hand on decisions, and clear ownership, without a full-time hire.
Fractional Technology Director
And when disagreement, unclear ownership, or damaged trust is what’s blocking the work, we provide team alignment and organizational mediation.
Who we’re for
We do our best work alongside mission-driven organizations, helping them serve their communities better.
Nonprofits, movements, and policy work.
Networks, co-ops, and place-based programs.
Counselors, behavioral programs, community care.
Schools, programs, and lifelong learners.
Clinics, therapists, and integrative wellness practices.
Sound familiar?
A task everyone dreads eats staff hours every single week.
The same data gets typed into two or three different systems.
You’ve outgrown a spreadsheet, and everyone knows it.
Software you depend on was built by someone who’s gone.
A funder, audit, or compliance rule needs technology you can defend.
Technology decisions keep getting postponed because the options aren’t clear.
If one system failed tomorrow, part of the mission would stop.
Two or more of these? A diagnostic will find where the hours are going.

The Challenge
SC Therapy Solutions, a speech therapy company, came to us with a familiar headache: state-specific licensing rules turn clinical and supervision hour tracking into a stressful, error-prone monthly task that therapists handle in spreadsheets they dread opening.
The Approach
We designed Theravise to feel like a co-worker. Hours log in seconds. The app remembers state rules so therapists don’t have to. Friction was the enemy of every decision.
The Result
Theravise is now rolling out to SC Therapy Solutions’ therapists, turning the dreaded monthly spreadsheet into a ten-second daily log with the state rules already accounted for.
Writing
Reflections on technology, organizations, and the people they serve.
The conversation goes back to two arguments: AI will save us, or break us. But what if the problems we blame on the machine were never really about the machine?
Everyone means tools when they say 'tech stack.' But a healthy technological ecosystem is really about people, the ones who make the software and the ones who live in it. The gap between them is shorter than it looks.
Technology for people who care.
